Glimpses of Last National Seminar on Managing Change (Oct.21-22, 2009)

 

 

Introduction:

Future change leaders have to be geared through the channels of the graduate entrepreneurship process with new technological support backed up by ideas incubating in to innovations. Growing   experiences and diverse problems while handling of various situation and crisis has led to germination of various leads .These are expressed in the form of solutions, discoveries or innovations.

In order to promote and inculcate a spirit of innovation in India, many steps have been taken by both the government of India as well as by Industry leaders to encourage application of breakthrough technology ideas in the society. Some of them have been documented but majority of them have remained unnoticed and unsorted.

 

Objective:

The objective of the ICT-3Is is to create an innovation eco-system in the country by sensitizing, encouraging and promoting innovators and facilitating commercialization of the innovations through training and incubating young potential entrepreneurs. It would also enhance employability of youth with ideas and creative mindset.

Addressing the need to expand the young innovators initiative to College Entrepreneurs & include a wider scope of participation from all potential innovators. Seminar aims to capture the innovative ideas from the Indian innovators in the age group of 18 years and above, including students, innovators from R&D Institutes & Labs, Industry professionals and individual innovators / Entrepreneurs, grassroots innovators etc.

 

Great benefits can arise from such an initiative through the promotion and commercialization of innovations. This initiative is powered by CHANGE Program (Channelizing Graduate Entrepreneurs). Change will provide Incubation support, Marketing Research, Execution and Managerial expertise, making business proposals and for commercialization of some of the best ideas. Change will help provide a wide outreach of the initiative, and also support in commercialization of select innovations.

 

Interaction with various support organizations involved in the process of commercialization will be facilitated through us. Great benefits can arise from such an initiative through the promotion and commercialization of innovations. Change will also be partnering this joint initiative by providing funding and Incubation support for making business proposals and for commercialization of some of the best innovations. The promoters will take forward the most potential innovations by providing the commercialization support through CHANGE will launch an Innovation Grid which is a web-based networking portal for all the stakeholders of the innovation to market process thus facilitating entrepreneurship development.

 

The ESP of this initiative will be identification of projects that would be directly related to industry and development sector, matured enough to be used by the them with a substantive potential for its utility and commercialization.
