The biggest challenge India faces in the next 20 years is the challenges of managing change and stimulating institutional development innovation to help them build their competitive edge and innovative goal. We have to invest in human resources, recognize and build talent and meet the emerging concerns of managing change and building organizations through a self sustaining high motivation for excellence.

 

Introduction:

 

Process of change management and coping strategy to deal with the issues of organizational survival and growth has been addressed by various Indian public enterprises and Corporate Sector. Ups and downs in the emerging economy have invited severe stress on human resource and their motivational concern for excellence to meet the challenges of today and tomorrow.

 

Opportunities before the Indian organizations are in abundance to move ahead and reestablish their professional excellence in competitive economy. The challenges lie in initiating institution development, through employee retention and containing their growth, role innovation, performance management, organizational realignment, appropriate business strategy in addition to resource management. The competitive global scenario has placed the organization on its tenterhooks, therefore, this seminar aims to examine several alternatives to build the strategies of organization towards excellence through social innovations and incubation ideas of people that meets their need for the survival and growth organizational excellence many organizations in public sector that have stepped into Navartna, have already shown the path of excelling through their strategic moves and planned organizational development interventions. Yet it has miles to go. The seminar has envisaged following objectives to meet the above goal and encourages the learning the private and public sector towards managing change.

 

Objective:

 

ü  To help examine opportunities and challenges in managing change while building institutions through social innovations and idea incubations.

ü  To explore ways and means for social innovation that defines strategies for building institutions while dealing with the emerging change process.

ü  To share experiences and experiments of institution building to address change management through good governance for growth and social equity.

 

 

Design of the Seminar:

 

Papers will be invited from practitioners and known resource professional on following thematic area. It will be in the form of paper presentations and rich experience sharing aligned with the following broad coverage. This will be divided into five plenary sessions as below.
