task covers market research diagnostic work & techno-economic
surveys. |

Information & Publication Cell (IPC) |
Publication
is an important vehicle through which we can reach a wider
section of people, especially those whom we cannot reach physically.
IDMAT plays a supportive role to its large clientele network,
committed towards income generations and poverty alleviation
programmes through information dissemination, various types
of research or surveys, monitoring, evaluation studies and
different types of publications. |

Institutional Development Centre (IDC)

Capacity
Building of organizations is another major thrust area for
IDMAT's initiatives. Sharing and dissemination of experiences
and information is essential to improve the managerial and
technical competencies in social as well as corporate initiatives.
Therefore, international networking has become an integral
part of our endeavours. We have been organizing international
or national workshops and training programmes as an ongoing
activity. |
We
have divided our Institutional Development programmes into
two categories |

Corporate Linkage Programmes |
Under
this category we announce open and in-house programmes for
corporates. Our short executive development programme have
got wide appreciation and acceptance in the corporate world.
We have conducted in-house programmes on "Personal Effectiveness",
"Retiring to Rebuild Yourself", HR related issues particularly
on theme such as "Negotiating to Win-Win" and "Total Quality
Person" in addition to selective OD intervention. Our major
clients for these programmes are Larsen & Toubro, Birla
Soft, Bharti Telecom, Samtel, BHEL, JINDAL's ,IPCL, Oberoi's
group of Hotels and DELPHI etc. Such linkage efforts bring
corporate exposure to development goal. |

Social Sector Programmes |
Most
of the efforts in this direction are directed towards enhancing
professional skills of development professionals through training,
networking and facilitative initiatives. We have been conducting
workshops on Gender Equity and Micro Enterprise Development,
Community Mobilization and SHG Formation, General Management
Programmes for Business Service Providers, Turning NGOs into
MFIs, Advocacy, Governance etc. International thrust on social
sector and its linkage with corporate world has been the focus
of IDMAT. |
