IDMAT's
Grameen Initiative is run by Aseed
Grameen the implementing arm,which is actively involved
in implementing and launching grass root projects.The development
professionals strength exceeds 150 dedicated staff. To pursue such
initiatives it has already made its impact in the States of Haryana,
Uttar Pradesh and Bihar. But the quest doesn’t end here, the
Grameen team is continuously on the move and expanding its horizons
in other States and regions. |

Being
evolved as an implementing agency in early 90s , it has been implementing
various prestigious projects on behalf of World Bank,IFAD,UNDP,Government
of India,EU in the northern Indian states.Aseed grameen has succussful
created its own infrastructure and food processing unit supported
by GOI in the north west region of India which is actively involved
in forming,helping and empowering SHGs and entrepreneurs by providing
them with common processing facilities set up and marketed by seperate
entity 'Arpan' (Aseed Rural Producers Association
Network). Arpan product range does not limit to food processing
items but covers durables items:Carpets,Handicraft items,brassware
etc. made by the network of Arpan entreprenuers. |

It’s
a matter of pride that our districts are ranked among the top districts
of the projects, be it the agricultural diversification project
in U.P. or the Women Empowerment Project in Haryana. Aseed Grameen,has
been rated as the best in several projects undertaken in the past.This
phenomenal success can be attributed to our strong village base,
intensive and extensive,which contributes towards socio-economic
empowerment of the rural poor. The learnings and experiences at
the grassroot level provides IDMAT strong foundation in the conceptualizing
the action and practices:Setting standards both at grass root and
